...a weekend shot to hell.....

Oye.....So Friday, i took off to my moms, for the night..... After we dropped Jay at work we hit the grocery store for a few things for him, then were on the road for 10am. We had to stop in Barrie to see if we could find another set of Lamps for my mom.......they didnt have any left so i had to stop in orillia...they did have them....but the stops meant we were on the road at lunch time. So we hit the BK drive thru...i knew our next stop at my Ex MIL's would be long, and i wanted to be at moms by 2pm....cant drive and eat a salad at the same time....so Junior whopper and iced tea it was.... Get Mish dropped off at her Nana's, head to moms, chat a bit, head to town for some Decor stuff for the livingroom now that it has furnature. ( atleast we are on to the fun stuff there.....all the building is done finally...but Spring and summer will bring some hard core landscaping and clean up outside) Well, after our time in Walmart, its just after 4pm..mom is peckish so she requests a stop at A&W drive thru, and orders us each a Teen Burger.....back to her place, set up the new stuff, and start moving the furnature around to find the best layout ect.....we do that till just after 6pm. At 7pm, Traven is hungery again, and makes up a pot of KD....mom and i were a lil hungery again, so we had some too. Saturday morning comes around, i skipped the Eggs and Bacon, had 1/2 a banana and my tea...an okay start..... Pop into Bracebridge to do a little bit of shopping....its almost lunch and we are on our way to Orillia again, so we hit McD's..... Again....cant eat salad and drive....sont like going in cuz the lil one eats slowly and i have a timing to meet, so its a Double Cheese burger and a few nuggets. Ugh....get to Orillia, get parked, get over to where jay and andy are with the HL and the G-wagon at the Winterfest. Well, we wander a bit, and the kids go on a few rides..... Jay takes his lunch break and wanders with us, and buys me and the kids a bag of cotton candy to share..... well it didnt survive the trip to Borden.....*Crap* Get back to Angus, hit the grocery store for something to make a nice dinner.....Dinner was Okay compared to the Take out we had been eating....we had Stuffed Halibut, shrimp coctail, sliced tomato drizzled with Kraft ROasted Red Pepper and Parm dressing, and garlic noodles.....BUT, for desert i had made Jay a chocolate cream pie....*SOB* I soooo failed this weekend!!!!!!! Im up 1.6lbs... I totally didnt drink my waters...i had 3 bottles Friday nite at moms, but i only had one last night.... Today i will do better! We are having Andy for Sunday dinner, and because he is the one i have been councelling with his diet, i always make a Very healthy dinner when he comes. On the average, we eat a 50% veggie dinner, but when he comes i do 70%. One way i do this is with my Sheppards Pie.... I use 1lb of Ground Beef, browned, add 2 large shredded carrots, 1/2 a bag of fresh spinach chopped, one medium onion, 2 cloves of garlic, 3 stalks of finely chopped celery, 1 cup of chopped mushrooms.... to that i add one can of Campbells Mushroom soup, and a couple spoons of beef stock. Its Yummy!!! and you dont even notice that the meat base isnt much meat at all! On that goes corn nibblets and then topped with Mashed potatoes. It makes a rather large sheppards pie, but there is only one Lb of ground beef in it! Serve it with a Garden salad of Lettuce, tomatoes, strawberries, blue berries, grapes, cucumber, green onions, and orange segments, and the only thing "unnatural" about it is the can of soup and the beef stock; and your salad dressing...and "per serving" you dont get more then like 2 tablespoons of the soup, and 2 tales spoons of the dressing on your salad.....
Oh, i wanted to add, after seeing Andy yesterday in Orillia...even in his Winter coat, he looks smaller then he did 6 monthes ago in a Tshirt, his face is thinner, AND he is now able to pass his Fit test, AND have engery to spare. Jay has told me he now runs with him willingly and feels GOOD doing it, he has energy to spare! He had been working on his PT for a year, but it wasnt until i started councelling him six monthes ago with his diet and had him fueling his body that he started getting results. You can work out all you want, but if your still eatting a load of McD's garbage for lunch and a 4-6 cup pasta based dinner...you will get no where.

Well that is all i have to write at the moment, ill write tomorrow with todays accomplishments, and such....

Ciao

Face it, accept your choices, forgive yourself, and move on :)

It may have been a bad weekend, but that doesn't have to mean a bad week!! Grab onto the wagon and climb back up there, you can do it :)
