Jay has done pretty good this weekend. Saturday he went to the Gym in the morning, ran 5km's. Then in the afternoon he went back and swam laps. Sunday he did a 13km ruck march with 60lbs, and finished within the allotted time. I had to drain his blisters for him last night, but otherwise he is fine. Today he is a little stiff, and his back hurts a little. I dont have Sympathy for him....I have been telling him for monthes to get his shit together, cuz 'what if they call next week'....He has been confident he will have no problems passing the test...and he wont..BUT he should be training, and getting his body used to it! Its possible that he will have to do the test twice..... and now, its a case of 'What if you do it here, have your interview and a couple days later you have to do it all again in Pet?' "If you body is used to that kind of demand, you will have no prob, and with what your after, you want to do Better then Okay". Atleast now, he is listening...lol.... I need to get his gym clothes ready as im kicking him out to the gym before supper...needs to do Core today. I know not to make him kill himself with the PT, cuz i cant have him broken lol, but i need to keep him confident, and working towards 'Exempt' for his PT. See over the past 4 years, he got a little lazy...when he was with 22SVB, he was on his bum alot, and then at NRTD, he never had time to go to the gym, so when he had to do his annual Fit Tests, he would fail the first crack, and have to extra PT. This year was the first time he Passed first crack....But he only did the minimum...in his defence: he had a chest cold, and a pulled muscle.... But it reflects kinda badly that he only did the minimum... BUT he didnt fail! He really wants Pet, and alot of the feild units do major PT...Ruck marches for fun.... and they have more hilly terrain.... So ..long story short, im busting his ass lmao.
What else is new....not too much really...its Sunny, and the snow is melting....i believe we could be Snow-less by Thursday.... we have 2 +10 degree days tomorrow and Wednesday...and it only took 1 +7 degree day to melt it all at Christmas! There are alot of grass patches visable, so i believe the next two days will clear most of it up. YAY!!!
Well is suppose that is all i have to prattle on about at the moment......
Ciao!
