FINALLY!!! FINALLY!!! Its about FRRRREAKING TIME!!!!!!! Jay came home from work last night with some Good news....I wont say Great yet...Great will be once he gets past this step and gets on to the next one. After 7 and some monthes he has FINALLY been granted permission to do the testing for a position he wants. He has ruffled enought feathers and made enough noise to get people off their asses and things moving. He told them he couldnt be deterred, and that he would push for what he wanted, and they cant stop him. I think it has helped that they have managed to get a few more people posted in to his unit. They still dont WANT to lose him, but they know that if they keep hindering him that shyte will hit the fan. So, he is now training hard for the Fitness Testing. We have a training schedual, and I am re-working his diet to accomidate his nutritional needs. We have taken his current measurements and stuff, and will see what happens over the next few weeks with his training.
We likely wont know anything until Mid March, but it is soo good to finally FINALLY be to this place. Once he finishes the Fitness and an interview, its completely out of his COC's hands.
I really hope that we know where things stand and whats going on by April for the most part, as I would really like to plan the summer, Summer is very important in our family, since the kids are out of school, and im not back to work till the Fall, and Jay saves most of his leave for summer. We like to really make the most of it, while the kids are still interested in us hahaha...I hope to keep them "family Oriented" in their teen years, but we all know, teens prefer the company of friends... SO yeah, would like to know what life is doing for us.....
Im Very Happy for Jay, but i didnt react how he expected me to..... I think he understands...Cautiously Optomistic.... We have been emotionallly beaten down for 7 monthes over this, with it being more then just an Uphill Battle....I think once he tells me he has to go up North for a few days, ill bounce off the walls lol.
Well, that is all i have to write for now on that....
In other realms....im sitting here smelling the heady fragrance of a Hycynthia....I HAD to pick on up yesterday..i woke from a dream yesterday morning, and could smell the scent.....there was no flowers in the house, maybe it was a premonition, who knows...but i decided as i climbed out form under the covers, that it was my mission to procure one that day, and i did, and have been enjoying it since....it smells so Spring-like in here.
Here is a lil Humor for anyone who reads this blog..... Last night we decided once the kids were in Bed and asleep we were going to have A beer, and play Wii Bowling. Well, my husband is a bit of a freak, and i love him for it....its a good thing that no one EVER just stops by, because at 11pm, my hubby decides he wants to Bowl Nekkid.......It was HILARIOUS! He wasnt drunk, cuz we only drank 1/2 a can of Bud each....he just is a nut.
Well, that is all i have to write at the moment.... I have to start getting ready for Boo's birthday party this evening....
