so tired....

I wish i could go to bed, but i have to wait for the dishwasher to be done...... Jay is in the field.
I have been sewing since ohh..... 9:30am....maybe before that.... Started with finishing a dress for cadie that i started last night....then i did another dress of cadie...then i did a top for mishy, then i made myself the Worlds AWSOMEST PJ pants!!!! They are a thick, buttery soft fluffy kinda material....sooo frrreaking cozy..make me look even bigger cuz they are so fluffy, but Damn are they ever sooo cozy!!!!!!!!! Then, i did a kilt for Mish......Kilts are soooooo much work. first ya have to figure out your 'sett'.... then cut, figure your aprons, then do your pleats, and that takes sooo long.... basically, 4 metres of tartan, pleated up to be only 34" long.... oye. then there is the rest of the making.... but its done and she is very happy with it. I think i am almost ready to try it with actual Wool Tartan..ive only been doing practice kilts for mishy out of cotton blends....The upside of wool will be easier to set the setts as the print is much larger.... regardless, having done the three i have for her, i really dont understand why they retail for $500..... the fabric is only $80..... yeah its alot of work, but im doing them in 5 hours....and it must be easier with the equipment they have...i have a Kitchen Table, a dishwasher( work surface) Iron, and a 'Brother' sewing machine....i could see if it was a little old lady in Scotland, who handstitched, and used a lil old fashioned iron that was heated on her wood burning stove....but its not, its tailors who have all the modern convenience....they are made in Barrie, its not like they even come from Scotland....grr....... having a Highland Dancer is gonna be expensive...... but she is worth it.... Cadie is gonna start in september...atleast she can have mishys hand-me downs and wont get to competition level for a few years....

ANYWAYS~ the dishwasher just finished, but now im chatting with my momma lol...... im so tired.....but i sooooo love these comfy pants hahahaha
