i dont think this is really a quality photo to demonstrate my photographic abilities..but its the only pic i took today....
Squish made this cake for our friend Andy. Andy loves sculls and we had him and two friends for dinner tonight and mishy made him a birthday cake. The cake was green, with lemon filling, with buttercream frosting and covered in Black MM Fondant. It was VERY yummy, and i am looking forward to working with squish more.
She missed the cakes Reveal as she went to her aunties for the weekend, but i sent her with two slabs of white cake, all the left over balls of fondant and a container of buttercream for her and her 3 year old cousin to play with. She showed me her masterpiece via webcam, and she does have a talent as she decorated her slab with hand made fondant roses! I think she is going to want to work more with it- so its something we will be able to tinker with when jay is in sand land. i dont mind- you can make quite a bit of fondant for $5.... ill likely have her practice modelling with playdoh tho as its re-useable....maybe we are destine to have a family bakery???? ;)
